​SENteacher.org - this must be the go-to website for preparation of activities to be completed as part of any home learning plan, literacy and numeracy - create pdfs and assign.

Twinkl - Huge SEN section - free until end of crisis - link here is directly to the SEN section.

Oxford Owl - Updated for home learning. Can access from home. OWT books and much more..e.g. spelling sheet.

Storyberries - Great resource to stimulate reading - many 5 minute stories - great for break.

K12 - Difficult to navigate but recommended on survey

Toy Theater - amazing website with loads of fun games to reinforce every aspect of literacy and numeracy, teacher tools and much more. Simple PowerPoint here to show some of the useful SEN games.

Epic! - Super website and app with tons of colourful books available free for schools (individuals must pay). At the moment, until end of June 2020 teachers can invite their pupils to participate, so free until then for all home learning. Recommended by many teachers. Details of this offer available here pointing out how easy it is for teachers to invite their pupils to avail of site free.

Reading Eggs - also recommended by teachers, however this only has a two-week free trial

Jolly Phonics - Very well known scheme of phonics, much praised and prized by Irish teachers for the approach taken​

PDST - Huge bank of resources, tailored to Irish context, naturally, particularly suitable for senior classes.

PM eCollection - Huge bank of thoroughly graded books available on the PM shelf. Well tried and respected system of graded readers. Cost is around €6 per pupil per year

World Book Online - can be accessed at home now also via Scoilnet website. Super resource for all primary school pupils with videos, games and numerous actvities.

New - Further to a suggestion made on the survey - World Book was explored for its possibilities and potential linking to Seesaw - super resource. Another slideshow was created (with links provided throughout) to show possible ways to use World Book

Topmarks - we are focussed here on literacy games in the senior classes - newspaper reporter, creepy verbs and comic book edit.
